Matt L. says: Katy’s property is a rare gem in Anna Marie. Perfect for a couples getaway or even with a few kids. The home is well appointed, clean, and inviting. The pool is larger than it looks in the photos and it actually functions as described (unlike other properties managed by large companies in the area). The provided golf cart on premises (at a fee) was also an added bonus and gave us one less thing to think about. Don’t hesitate to stay at this amazing property.

Jenni A. says: We had an amazing stay at MI Oasis Getaway! This was our first trip to Anna Maria Island, and we were so happy to have chosen Katy’s property. We are a small family (me, my husband and our 8 year old daughter), so we didn’t need an enormous house as so many AMI rentals are. The location is more important to us, and in our opinion, this location was an A. It is a short 1/2 block walk to the beautiful beach and there’s plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. If you are looking for nightlife this probably isn’t the best location as the surrounding restaurants close pretty early, but it was perfect for us. The house itself was very clean and decorated with a lot of Florida charm. The only drawback for us is that we are not early birds and the bedroom curtains don’t block much light, but that is a very small criticism for the overall wonderful property. We did not cook much, but the kitchen was well stocked, and all of the included beach gear is such a nice bonus. There was even a small basket of sunscreen and bug spray. Communication with the host (Katy) was great.In short, I thought this property represented an amazing location and value for Anna Maria Island. I would not hesitate to recommend it and we hope to stay there again in the future.

The beach was a short walk and the property had all the amenities needed that we didn’t have to pack any beach supplies. I was surprised at how quiet it was although very pleased with that! Susan S. says: The home has a great location in the north Anna Maria Island area. It takes a couple of minutes to walk to the beautiful wide, white sand beach that is not overly populated. The neighborhood is quiet even though one street over has fun shops and restaurants. The home is tastefully decorated with tropical woods and rattan. The backyard has a pretty heated pool and attractive landscaping making it a little garden oasis. Communication with the owner was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Allison H. says: Great first-time trip to AMI and we would book from Katy again. We plan to return sometime – loved AMI! Best things about rental: 1 – Location!! We could be on the beach in 2 minutes and Pine Street is just a block over (Pine street is a fun ‘everything’ street). The famed City Pier (end of Pine) is only half mile from house. Sandbar restaurant on the beach is 2 blocks away. Truly a perfect location. 2 – Katy is a great communicator. She responded quickly to texts and checked in several times. And we enjoyed meeting her. 3 – the king bed is sooo comfortable. The room has plenty of space and lots of drawers. (Although we used the second room like a closet too.) 4 – Best stocked house we’ve stayed in: sunscreen, coffee, spices, enough paper goods for the week, soap, etc. (Not like other rentals) Plus a beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, floats, toys, and more, ready for usage. 5 – Overall a very comfortable, convenient stay for us. To Consider: The space was very livable and the sectional sofa nice for lounging after an active day. But this is a small beach rental with only a side yard (albeit nicely done) we hardly used given cooler temps and earlier dusk. We are active people who do things until after sunset and go to bed early so great for us. (and we liked sitting out front.) But if lounging around an aesthetic yard is important to your vaca, you might be happier in the other side (same building), which has a nice pool and larger outdoor space.

Stephanie K. says: We loved every minute of our stay in Anna Maria Island, and wish we would have booked more time. The house was perfect for my husband and I – we used the twin beds in the second bedroom to store our suitcases instead of unpacking into the dresser. The kitchen was well set up, although we chose to eat our for all of our meals. Kate was a great host, and promptly provided additional beach chairs, as the ones we found had broken backpack straps. The location of the house was perfect for walking/biking to different places…our rental car stayed parked the entire time! We would love to visit again soon!

Verified traveler says: Highly recommend OHasis Getaway! This beautiful pool home is exactly as pictured & described…couldn’t ask for more! What’s not pictured are all the helpful little things you may need in the kitchen and bathroom that have been thoughtfully included so that you can settle in immediately & feel at home. The other thing you can’t see is how perfect this location is! This home is quiet & private, but just one street over from Pine, full of great dining & shopping options within walking distance! Plus you can easily walk to the beach! We can’t wait to visit again!
