Susan S. says: The home has a great location in the north Anna Maria Island area. It takes a couple of minutes to walk to the beautiful wide, white sand beach that is not overly populated. The neighborhood is quiet even though one street over has fun shops and restaurants. The home is tastefully decorated with tropical woods and rattan. The backyard has a pretty heated pool and attractive landscaping making it a little garden oasis. Communication with the owner was great. We enjoyed our stay.
Allison H. says: Great first-time trip to AMI and we would book from Katy again. We plan to return sometime – loved AMI! Best things about rental: 1 – Location!! We could be on the beach in 2 minutes and Pine Street is just a block over (Pine street is a fun ‘everything’ street). The famed City Pier (end of Pine) is only half mile from house. Sandbar restaurant on the beach is 2 blocks away. Truly a perfect location. 2 – Katy is a great communicator. She responded quickly to texts and checked in several times. And we enjoyed meeting her. 3 – the king bed is sooo comfortable. The room has plenty of space and lots of drawers. (Although we used the second room like a closet too.) 4 – Best stocked house we’ve stayed in: sunscreen, coffee, spices, enough paper goods for the week, soap, etc. (Not like other rentals) Plus a beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, floats, toys, and more, ready for usage. 5 – Overall a very comfortable, convenient stay for us. To Consider: The space was very livable and the sectional sofa nice for lounging after an active day. But this is a small beach rental with only a side yard (albeit nicely done) we hardly used given cooler temps and earlier dusk. We are active people who do things until after sunset and go to bed early so great for us. (and we liked sitting out front.) But if lounging around an aesthetic yard is important to your vaca, you might be happier in the other side (same building), which has a nice pool and larger outdoor space.
Stephanie K. says: We loved every minute of our stay in Anna Maria Island, and wish we would have booked more time. The house was perfect for my husband and I – we used the twin beds in the second bedroom to store our suitcases instead of unpacking into the dresser. The kitchen was well set up, although we chose to eat our for all of our meals. Kate was a great host, and promptly provided additional beach chairs, as the ones we found had broken backpack straps. The location of the house was perfect for walking/biking to different places…our rental car stayed parked the entire time! We would love to visit again soon!
Verified traveler says: Highly recommend OHasis Getaway! This beautiful pool home is exactly as pictured & described…couldn’t ask for more! What’s not pictured are all the helpful little things you may need in the kitchen and bathroom that have been thoughtfully included so that you can settle in immediately & feel at home. The other thing you can’t see is how perfect this location is! This home is quiet & private, but just one street over from Pine, full of great dining & shopping options within walking distance! Plus you can easily walk to the beach! We can’t wait to visit again!

The property is well cared for, the host is proactive and has literally thought of everything you could need. Plus, the location allows you to walk to restaurants, coffee and shopping. And it really is only 200 steps to the beach. Will happily stay here again!

Tricia G. says: This was by far our favorite place to stay in AMI so far. Katy is a great host and the house was perfect for our family of 4. The location cannot be beat. We love the North end of the island and we could walk to all of our favorite spots, including the beach, within just a few minutes. The beach walk was so short our kids didn’t even complain about helping with chairs and beach gear ( which is there to borrow if needed). The house and pool were very clean, which is always really important to us. We all loved using the heated pool since it was chilly some days for swiming at the beach. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked for every meal we made and Katy even has basic cooking supplies like spices, oil, and more. The master bed was probably more comfortable than our bed at home and the whole house was cozy and homey. Anything we needed was quickly addressed by Katy and we were glad we got to meet her in person one afternoon. We will definitely be back here again soon. It’s really a great quiet spot for a first time visit and if you stay here, you won’t regret it. Make sure you walk around the block for poppos and donut experiment!

It is well stocked with beach wagon, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. This was nice since we flew to AMI and unable to bring our own. The beach is an easy walk 1 block away. The outdoor shower was very convenient after a day at the beach. And the swimming pool was nice to use at the end of the day. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood of Homes Beach. It was perfect for our family of four. Take our advice.. rent her golf cart!!! So much fun driving the golf cart around the island. Katy was a wonderful host. We wished we could’ve stayed longer. We hope to stay here again next year!
Verified traveler says: My wife and i loved Ohasis Getaway. The home was very clean and as advertised it is 200 steps from the beach (yes I counted). We enjoyed several places to eat (breakfast, lunch and dinner) that were easily in walking distance, even in the warm Florida weather. We did not let the nearby construction bother us, there were too many nice things to see and do.

Matthew B. says: Beautiful property that is close to the many restaurants and shops on AMI. We enjoyed the amazing pool in the back yard and grilled some locally-caught fish on the propane grill. Property is only a block away from the beach and it was easy to go back and forth, even with our two young children. The unit was well appointed and has everything you need for a relaxing week at the beach!

This was our 6th visit to AMI but first at this property and it did not disappoint. The house is located very close to the beach and made it easy for us to come and go often. The house is well stocked with all the necessities. It was so nice not to have drag all of our own beach supplies with us on our trip! We loved the option to add the golf cart and didn’t get back in our car for the entire week. We cannot wait to stay at this property again in the future! Katy is a wonderful host with a fantastic property!
Adrain A. says: No doubt Anna Maria Island is one of those places you won’t ever forget. The town, the beach, the breeze, the unbelievable sunset, and from now on, I must say THIS HOUSE! First of all I have to congratulate the owners, specially Katy, what a great customer service!!!! and what a great taste she has when it comes to details and decorations. The house is perfectly neat, she has thought on everything, all that you can ever imagine you may need in your stay it’s in the house. I’m talking about from mosquito repellent until beach’s toys. The only thing you need to bring in it’s your willingness to have a wonderful time, and of course… food! The location is awesome, just few steps away from beach shore, couple of miles from supermarket, restaurants, pier, jet ski rentals and more!!! One of the thing we enjoyed the most was the patio with the pool which it has the perfect size and depth to relax after a whole day in the beach. There are just a couple of things I’d like to bring into attention!!! The entrance to the pool area from the living room has a big step that if you don’t pay attention as you walk you can hurt your toes, or lose balance and fall, this particular area isn’t friendly for people with walking limitations, or whoever in good shape if don’t pay look at floor while walking. Driveway’s entrance to the pool is completely safe! Overall I give a solid 5 star to this place. I would definitely repeat the experience in here! Thank you so much Katy!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were grateful that coffee, filters, and paper products were amply stocked. It was great to have beach wagon, chairs, and cooler provided, which made trip to the beach an easy walk. The pool was relaxing at the end of the day. Our only disappointment was not having bikes, which we thought were provided. We would definitely recommend and would rent with Katy again!

Tammy P. says: Although I don’t want word to get out about how great this property is, I have to be honest. We were so completely blown away by the attention to detail from the hosts. It is very obvious they care about their guests and provide so many little details to make you feel at home and welcomed. Coffee beans and grinder, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soaps and all the little amenities that you need but always have to throw when you leave were included. The house was so clean! Decor was so cute. The location could only be better if it was right on beach. One block or so to beach, right around the corner was Pine Avenue restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere! We loved it so much we booked again for next year before we even checked out

Robert & Katy have thought of everything to make your stay so easy – we loved having beach towels and a wagon and beach chairs, and our kids loved when they discovered all the sand toys! We highly recommend renting their golf cart as well – that was the cherry on top and made it possible to explore so much of the island! We certainly hope to be back soon!
Jennifer says: My family and I were very pleased with our stay at Ohasis Getaway II! To be honest, we never wanted to leave! 
It was very clean, the beds were comfy, and it had lots of amenities. You really only need to bring your clothes and food to eat for the week and you are set. Usually, we have to buy pool or beach stuff, but we didn’t have to here. They had everything you could imagine for the beach/pool, even a beach wagon to carry it all to the beach. The bicycles were in great shape and comfortable to ride on. There were condiments in the fridge so we didn’t have to buy extra things like ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. We were able to check in a little earlier than expected and even got a text from Katy checking in on us the day after we arrived to make sure that everything was up to our expectations. She was very pleasant and timely when responding to questions we had during our stay. With everything the Ohasis Getaway II had to offer, we were able to relax and have fun on our vacation without any worries! We loved it and will definitely plan to stay again!

It is the best of both worlds if you are looking for somewhere with a pool and close to the beach. The pool was our favorite and with the landscaping it was very private. I had one question…during the stay and got a response within minutes. The information they provide for staying there is above any place we’ve been before. This was my first time to Anna Maria and fell in love with the island. Even my 9 year old commented on how friendly everyone on the island was. If I ever owned a beach house, this is exactly what I would choose. For now, I’ll just look to book this beautiful home again.
Craig S. says: I shouldn’t write this review, it only hurts my chances of finding another available date to book this vacation home again in the future. The pool is bigger than it appears in photos and is so richly landscaped that, even though you’re a block off the main street in Anna Maria, you would never know it while you’re out back. The convenience of this location cannot be overstated–by being a block north of Pine, you have less car traffic, making it safer for younger kids to bike, etc. You’re also just a block and a half from the beach–it’s such a simple, flat walk, no stress for the grandparents who stopped by for ice cream and a sunset. It’s obvious the owners care a lot about this home–this is not contractor-grade building or furnishing. It’s got tissues, a blender, an alarm system for the pool to keep toddlers safe, a sturdy beach cart (!), bikes, and even Tupperware! These may sound like weird points, but the details of this home really set it apart from other places we have rented in Anna Maria. The home is well laid out, quiet, clean, convenient, and simply a happy place to be. If you’re reading this review and are on the fence about whether to book it, I encourage you to quit hesitating, book the date, and look forward to a stress-free trip to AMI.
Cyndi P. says: Our stay at OHasis was wonderful! My husband had never been to Anna Maria and he fell completely in love. We got up in the morning and we walked to Ginny and Jane E Cafe, Mermaid by the Sea, or one of the other restaurants, all within walking distance. We would then walk beach and head back to our cozy bungalow! Spent the day in the gorgeous pool area, just the two of us. So private and relaxing.. It is landscaped beautifully, the pool is the perfect temperature and they are well-stocked outside for any kind of beach activities. Was breezy, We did not use but we actually did see everything there, there are even bikes. In the evening the fire lights come on around the pool and it’s nice to sit out there. and drink some wine, we actually had a full moon. A serene and romantic piece of paradise. The house is comfortable and well stocked for eating in. I was very happy that the bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable. It is so very important to me if I’m going to be away from home for a week or two! The entire property is immaculate. If you’re looking for a laid-back relaxing place to stay you get a lot for your money at OHasis. Katy is very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend the walk to Bean Point at Sunset, stunning. We loved OHasis so much that we’ve already booked next year at their second property, OHasis II!
Cyndi P. says: It was my husband’s first time to the island I had been there before, he fell in love! We loved O’Hasis so much! Our favorite was the patio and pool. The area is so well groomed, the pool was just the perfect temperature. Everything from grounds to the house were immaculate. The pool area is well-stocked with items for the beach, it was a little breezy when we were there we didn’t use any of that but it is there. We had our 40th anniversary in July and this was like a second honeymoon. One thing that’s very important to me on vacations is the bed, the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable! It’s a very short walk to the beach it’s also a short walk to some really good restaurants, No matter what your taste there is a restaurant for it and there’s really good pizza very close. Robert and Katy are very easy to get a hold of and are very helpful. We loved our stay here so much that we have already made reservations to stay next year at their new place! O’Hasis 2, I’m sure it’s every bit as wonderful as this one! I wanted to add the kitchen is well-stocked for about anything you need I actually think I left my wine opener there but they had several! There’s a lot of bang for your buck here If you’re looking for a quiet, laid back and even romantic place to relax on the island, I highly recommend it!!?
